NSW Resources Celebrates 150 Years of Exploration at Parliament House

NSW Resources is pleased to announce the success of another Exploration in the House, a celebration of 150 years, held at the NSW Parliament House on Friday, May 9, 2025.

This annual event, a highlight of NSW Minerals Week, brought together 150 industry experts and researchers to discuss the latest advancements in geoscience and geophysical data. Hosted by the Geological Survey of NSW, the event underscored the crucial role of innovative exploration strategies in shaping the future of mining in New South Wales.

Keynote speaker, Dr Richard Glen, Adjunct Professor Macquarie University, on A plate tectonic approach to targeting future exploration opportunities for critical minerals and high-tech metals in NSW, emphasised the importance of these advancements.
