Our recently-released mine safety performance report provides an overview of the NSW mining industry’s health and safety results for 2021–22.
For operators, the report can help guide future health and safety improvements and provides performance benchmarks. It also provides valuable information on the types of injuries occurring.
In 2021–22 there were zero fatal injuries, 88 serious injuries, 216 lost time injuries and 756 total recordable injuries reported.
