Exploring new data and exploration futures at Exploration in the House

The annual event Exploration in the House – new data, new exploration futures presented by the Department of Regional NSW's Mining, Exploration and Geoscience will showcase the latest projects and new geoscience and geophysical data from the Geological Survey of NSW.

Chief Geoscientist and Head of the Geological Survey of New South Wales, Phillip Blevin said 'We are pleased to bring our annual showcase event back again in 2024, aligning with NSW Minerals Week.'

'Exploration in the House will be a half-day event held from 9 am to 1 pm, with registration commencing at 8:30 am.

There will be 2 sessions featuring highlights of current and future projects, and geophysics. The event provides an opportunity to facilitate discussions on the implications of exploration, mining, research and investment in NSW.'

'We are also thrilled to welcome a keynote presentation by Professor Dietmar Muller, University of Sydney, who will discuss the applications of artificial intelligence-driven data processing in the search for critical minerals,' said Dr Blevin.

Exploration in the House – new data, new exploration futures will be held at NSW Parliament House Theatrette in Sydney on Friday 10 May 2024. 

The event is free, however tickets are limited.
